Dorothy Elizabeth (Johnson) (Bryce) Perkins

Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022, at North Lambton Lodge, Forest, with family by her side.  Loving wife of Reginald Perkins (1997) and friend of Les Wright (2016).  She will be missed by her children Gary Bryce, Allan (Beverly) Bryce, Beth (Jack) Karr and John (Ruth) Perkins.  Greatly loved and missed by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Beatrice (Capes) Johnson, siblings Gladys (Ervin) Saunders, Doris (Oscar) Saunders, Winnifred (Frank) Johnson, Blanche (Ken) Mansfield, Mildred (Bernie) Smith, Clayton Johnson, Wilton (Edna) Johnson, Ollie (Shirley) Johnson and Harold (Ileen) Johnson, and her Grand daughter Coleen Karr.  Survived by sister-in-law Dorothy (Sisson) Johnson.  She was a farmer’s wife until she moved to Forest.  Lifetime member of the Women’s Institute, member of the Forest United Church and the Ladies and Quilter’s groups.  Special thanks to the staff on Maple at North Lambton Lodge for looking after “Miss Dorothy”.  Memorial donations may be made to Forest United Church or to the charity of choice.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11^th, 2022 from 7:00 pm -9:00 pm at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, where a Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday afternoon, at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.   Share a memory at www.forestfuneralhome.com  (519) 786-2401
