Obituary of Michael Leighton Siddall
Siddall, Michael Leighton “Mike”
The family of Michael Leighton Siddall is terribly saddened to announce the sudden passing as a result of a seizure, on Sunday, June 26th, 2022. Beloved son forever of Janice Siddall (nee Leighton) and the late Geoffrey Siddall (June 10th, 2022), of Komoka. Dear grandson of Ian and Janet Leighton (Cadogan) of Roseneath Landing and George and Betty Siddall (Tulpholme) of Belleville. Nephew of Ian and Aida Cadogan, Ruth Siddall (Bob) of Ilderton, Howard Siddall (Robyn) of Colborne, John Reynolds Siddall (Karen) of London. Special cousin to Robert, Emeryld and Austin Cadogan of Oshawa, Robert Todd Siddall (Christine), Charlotte & Henry of Ailsa Craig, Janet Siddall Smith (Brad), & Britain of Springbank. Mike will be dearly missed by his many relatives abroad in Scotland, his countless friends, teammates and neighbours throughout his life.
Mike loved to spend his time with his friends and family who meant the most to him. He was always active in sports, an avid hockey player, road hockey, and was always up for a round of golf. Mike will be missed by all who knew him and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 from 6:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. Visitation will continue Friday, July 1st, 2022 from 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Carlisle Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Unit of LHSC or a charity of one’s choice, are greatly appreciated by the family.
