I attended S.S.#3 Public School with the Doan family and remember Wilf, Tom, Irene and Helen. It was a different world then. I remember Wilfred as a kind and gentle person. Rest in Peace my Friend.

What a beautiful service and tribute to Wilfred. He was a kind, friendly and gentle soul who loved a good song and jig! I will always remember him with a smile and with his friendly hello. So many memories the Schnekenburger family has shared with the Doans. How lucky were we to have grown up in Churchville, and it is so true, “you can take the person out of Churchville, but you can’t take Churchville out of the person”. He was amazing friend just like a brother to me. Walt & him had a very special bond. We have so many great memories coffee time, barbecues,sharing meals together playing cards on the weekend and just spending time together!

I only met Wilfred once, we went to the home with Aunt Joanne and Aunt Helen and had a awesome dinner with Wilfred Tom's dad. I'm just sorry I didn't get to know him that well over the years. My Condolences to the family and may he RIP now in Gods hands. The family is in our prayers.

He loved my family. He had a special connection with my youngest, dallas. Dallas loved him. Talks about him till this day. I will keep you in our memories forever grandpa. Fly high.

Hey wilf sister Helen here I have wonderful memories of us growing up and since in Babcock The day Joanne and I took you to heart Dr I looked down at his feet and he had shoes on wrong feet and they were different ones We laughed about that for years He illness hadn’t got to bad at that point and he knew what he did then From fishing to singing and dancing to your favorites songs with us We will miss that but we have wonderful memories Until we meet again bro And if wilf needs squeezing mom and Dad can do that now ❤️❤️ Love you and going to miss you dearly

Well wilf so many good thing n my life because of u. When I was 16 u taught me how to drive in u told me to turn left into a drive way. Well I was to short to see the left side well turning n put the car n the ditch ....thank God u new the farmer across the street who pulled us out ..n yes it was snowing. Have alot more memory to always cherish. Ty for being my stepdad.

When I received the message you were gone I couldn't believe. It. You were a amazing man who made anyone and everyone around you smile. You l9ved to fish dance and play bingo. I will always remember our trips to Chatham to play. Or our road trips to get gas. Your in a much better place now. W3 will all miss you. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend love dave and Anna ♥️
