Obituary of Joe David Schoelier

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Strathroy Hospital on April 13^th, 2022, Joe David Schoelier, of Appin, in his 61^st year.  Cherished husband of Mandy Schoelier (nee Malin), of almost 40 years.  Devoted dad of Harley and Vincent.  Loving grandpa of Shawn Schoelier and Selena Munro.  Dear son of Elsie and the late John Schoelier (2009).  Always remembered by his siblings Henry (Nancy), Elsie (Don) Webster and Christine (Jim) Kys. Brother-in-law to Lisa (Jeff) Fligg, Rachael (Kelly) Worsfold and Victoria (Charles) Cortez.  Predeceased by Frank (2006), Christine Malin (2020) and Darren Malin (2021). Joe will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, family and friends within Canada, USA and Holland. 

Joe loved to farm and spend time with his family. A special thank you to Dr. Sanders for all your care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20^th, 2022 at Denning’s of Strathroy from 6-8 p.m.  There will be no funeral service.  A private family Interment in Appin Cemetery will take place at a later date.  Donations to Arthritis Society or Strathroy Hospital would be acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
