Obituary of Jennifer Jenelle George
Jennifer Jenelle George, 32, of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, passed away suddenly on December 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service will be held at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation Community Centre on Tuesday, December 21st at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Murray Shawnoo of Faith Builders International officiating the grave site committal. Burial will follow at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation Cemetery, on Indian Lane. Visitations will be held at 9128 Eagle Drive., Kettle & Stony Point First Nation on Monday, December 20th, 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 –9 p.m. DENNING’S FOREST will be handling the funeral arrangements (519) 786-2401 Sacred Fire will be held at the family home.
Jennifer was born in Sarnia, Ontario on October 26, 1989. Jennifer is survived by her partner Wesley Mandoka George and her parents Jack Brown and Jessie George, Pam Plain (Farley) and Elwood George, sister Cheryl George, Granddaughter to Donna Brown, sister-in-law to Darren Wrightman (Sharon), Chenoa Plain (Tony Jacobs), James Wrightman, Jarrod Wrightman, step mom to Jada Henry, God-mother to Emma Bressette-Cloud and Jackson Kingston and devoted mother to her fur babies Scrappy, Gizmo, Blaze and predeceased by Sammy Fats. Fondly and loving remembered by many Uncles, Aunts, cousins, friends and community members. Pall Bearers are Travis George, Terry Johnson, Stan George, Joe Boone Jr., Patrick Bressette, Roy DeRiviere and honourary Pall Bearer – Douglas George. Jennifer was a professional cackler, lover of cold ears and ear lobes, treasure hoarder, makeup and was also known for her love of the Kardashians. She completed her time in school from North Lambton Secondary School when she was 17. Jennifer loved to help everyone and was always known to give back when and where she could.
Memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 110-1525 Carling Ave., Ottawa, ON, K1Z 8R9. The family wishes to extend their immense gratitude to Bluewater Health Emergency Team, First Responders and the Indigenous Navigators.
