Obituary of Irene Nydam

Nydam, Irene (June 3, 1931 – November 24, 2021)

With family at her side at Strathmere Lodge, Irene (Wynia) Nydam passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord.  Loved wife of the late Ray Nydam (2010). Loving and precious mother of Pete Nydam, Don & Linda Nydam, Rick & Renata Nydam, Ingrid & Darin Vokes. Proud Grandma of Jordan Nydam, Jake & Jodie Van Rooyen, Logan Nydam & Rachel McQuillan, Olivia Vokes & Kevin McRae, Lindsay Vokes & Parker VanWolde, Sam Vokes & Abby Dortmans. Great-Grandma to Colton Van Rooyen. Mom  will be remembered by her family and Dad’s family in Friesland, the Netherlands. Mom was a quiet but sweet and gentle person who loved her family.

Visitation will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m on Saturday, November 27th, 2021. A funeral service will take place at 1:00p.m. at the church. A private family interment to take place at Strathroy Cemetery.
