Obituary of John Paul Joseph Bouchard

BOUCHARD, Mr. John Paul “Butch”

Passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the age of 87 years.  Beloved husband of the late Karen Menard (Grogan).  Loving father of Lance, Dennis, Yvonne, Shelley, Karen, and Kathleen.  Grandfather to Rachel, Summer, Jasper, Shaelyn, Jobina, Dean, Desiree, Jessica, and Rayne.   Great-grandfather of Grey.  Also remembered by his brothers and sisters.

Best known as “Butch”, he proudly dedicated over 20 years serving his country in the Canadian Armed Forces. He then worked for GMC for 25 years, testing light armoured vehicles. But what Butch was best known for was his love for music, playing his 70 year old Gibson guitar, and taking care of any wild animal that wandered into the yard. We will always remember his gentle nature and great sense of humour. He left this world a better place.
