Obituary of Steven William Prong

Steven Prong peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in his 61st year, after a courageous battle. Steve had a life well-lived alongside his wife, Kerri, for over 36 years. Beloved father to Jamie Prong, Adam Prong (Vanessa Rapagna), Kelsey (Gord) Crowley, and Tyler (Karli) Prong. The greatest gift has been our sweet granddaughter Baker Crowley - she adored her Grampa, and he cherished her. He is deeply missed. 

Steve will be missed but not forgotten by so many. His father, Ross Prong, brothers Greg (Tamasine) Prong and Doug (Tisha) Prong and brother-in-law Mike Charrette. As well as by in-laws Dorothy (Wayne) Edlington, Dianne (Bill) McKellar, Cal (Bonnie) Hill, and Craig Hill. Predeceased by his mom, Helen (2007) and sister Angela Charrette (2015). Uncle Steve will be missed by many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Steve’s friendship and kindness has been returned by so many friends, relatives, neighbours and colleagues. He dedicated his life to caring for those most important to him, enjoying his retirement and helping anyone who needed it. Steve loved spending time with friends and family, being on the lake, watching and coaching his children’s sports, and being outdoors. Remember him with kindness and a smile, and picture him on the beach. 
 

For those wishing to visit with Steves’  family, you are invited to do so on Friday August 27th, 2021 at his home, frrom 1:00-3:30 p.m.
