Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Wernham, her brother Bob, her sister Betty Douglas, brother-in-law Robert Douglas and brother-in-law Carmen Patterson.
While raising a family and working on the farm, Donna recognized the importance of community service. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, drove for the VON, volunteered with minor sports and for many years could be found running the food canteens at the local arenas. As a long-term member of the Kerwood- Bethesda United Church, Donna took her turn as organist and organized numerous church suppers.
After driving many children to school over a span of 33 years, Donna decided that it was only right that she should also cater their weddings, feed them at their Christmas parties and ensure that the food they ate at Camp Kee-Mo-Kee was something to write home about.
The family would like to thank her long-time family physician, Dr. G. Perkin, nurse Beatrice and the doctors and staff at the University and Victoria Campuses for their respectful, professional and compassionate care shown towards both Donna and her family.
