It is with broken hearts the family of Richard Jeffrey Peter “Rick” Heckman announces his sudden passing at the age of 55 on July 23rd, 2021. Beloved father of Taylor (Andy) Willis, Ryan Heckman and Dylan Heckman and step-father of Amanda (Dave) Verberne. Rick is survived by his sisters Terri (Robert) Stover and Tammy (Frank) Russell. Proud and cherished grampa of Jade Willis. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Marion Heckman.
Rick will be sadly missed by his friends and extended family. He will always be remembered for being an avid sports fan, specifically the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and the Lions. Rick loved spending his time cooking for the ones he loved while watching any sport.
Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Friday, July 30th, 2021 from 12:00p.m until the time of memorial service at 2p.m.
