To the Verbrugghe Family,
I am saddened by Steve's passing. About 15 years ago, I was splitting wood by hand in my driveway. Apparently Steve and Paul saw me struggling in the cold and about an hour later Steve backed into my driveway with a big, gasoline log splitter. It turned 8 hours into 30 minutes of work! This is the kind and caring, gentleman that Steve was! I will always remember this act of kindness and I am sure there were hundreds more! We will all miss Steve and may God be with you all!
Sincerely, Perry Willits

What a beautiful Photo Tribute to Steve -
Twenty years ago upon our move to Marsh Line, Steve welcomed us. Every time we were outside, he would stop for chit-chats with us or give us a big wave as he slowly drove by.
To his family, children and grand-children - may you find comfort in the good memories and allow yourself to grieve...
You are in our thoughts.
Normande & Michael Morencie
