I went to grade school with you Gwen and recently heard of your loss. I remember you as a great ball player in school and your pleasant personality. I worked at Wardsville Golf for 17 years...and witnessed Alex and his sense of humour and playful trouble making first hand. He was always smiling and he loved to golf. Alex was always a kind and caring neighbor. As a young girl living next door I was always bugging him to put air in my bicycle tires. I can't count the times he did that for me, and smiled and laughed because I needed him to rescue me once again. Many times he sent me flowers that he had given Don to bring home to me when he was out for a game of golf. Great memories from childhood. You will be missed. Don & Marie (Ingratta) Degraw
