Janssens, Cornelis “Cor”
On May 7th, 2021, the Lord called to himself, Cor Janssens, who died peacefully at his home in his 91st year, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 60 years to Tine Janssens (Vellinga). Loving father of Glenda (Pete) Brouwer, Shirley (Henry) Nieman, Peter (Cindy) Janssens, and Neil (Alieneke) Janssens. Proud Grandpa of Brad Zylstra, Tyler Zylstra (Cassie Falkanger), Amanda (Sean) Reekers, Justin (Erika) Nieman, Jordan (Hillary) Nieman, Christy Janssens (Abdullah Barez), Heather Janssens, Ryan Janssens, Cory (Shelley) Janssens, Melissa (Ian) Warren, and Natalie Janssens. Cherished great-grandpa of Ava Zylstra, Baileigh Zylstra, Charlotte Zylstra, Parker Nieman, Summer Nieman, Landon Reekers, and Corbin Janssens. Survived by his siblings Joan Vellinga, Leo (Trudy) Janssens, Hank (Anneke) Janssens and his sisters-in-law Maria Janssens, Tiete Jansen, Aafke Vellinga, and Mattie Vellinga. Cor will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A private family visitation to take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A graveside service will take place on May 11th, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, London. A livestream of the service may be viewed through the tribute page at 11:45am.
