Peacefully, with family by his side, Gerald “Jerry” Murray Douglas, passed away at Bluewater Health Palliative Care, Sarnia on Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at the age of 77. Father of Dennis Douglas, Strathroy. Predeceased by his wife, Kathy (nee Grogan) (2011). Quiet middle child of the late John (Jack) (1982) and Helen (2015) Douglas of Watford. Much loved brother of Ionne & Joe Woodall of Lambeth, the late Inez (2019) & Don Pecena of Alvinston, late John (1996) & Joan Douglas of St. Thomas, Sandy & late Bill (2014) Hayward of Goderich, Lyle & Dorthy Douglas of Watford and Penny & Roy Hall of Petrolia. Survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry was a member of IUOE Local 793 – International Union of Operating Engineers. A special thank you to Dr. Kim & 5th Floor Palliative Care staff at Bluewater Health, Sarnia for the compassionate and excellent care.
