Growing up, we didn’t have much excepted for each other. I remember the fun times of playing football and baseball (we even had a couple of fights during those times). We use to play board games and played music. Or better yet just lay on the grass during a thunderstorm and watch the garbage cans, front door, and garage get struck by lightning. But we were together. When we went to Germany, we started to separate in our new lives. We still stuck together. I am writing this today to say, we are missing a member of our pack. Don, you know I love you and miss you so much. Rest In Peace, Don Xoxo

I worked with Don for many years and often had lunch with him sharing stories of family and life. I am sad to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. Take comfort in all the good memories.

How do you put into words all your feelings and memories of the best dad? There is no way. My heart is broken. All we can do is hold his memories close and be forever thankful that we got to call him our dad.
Love you forever Daddy!!!❤️

Just a man and his girls.
Thank-you Don for letting me be part of your lives.
I have often tried to model myself after you but never could find shoes big enough.
The love that you and your wife share was whole hearted, your best friend and life partner.
I wish I could of thanked you or even had one last talk on the golf course.
Thank you Don and thank you girls for all you did for me. Gone but never forgotten.

Condolences from mine to yours on this loss. Remember the good times you had and he'll never be truly gone.
My Dad used to sing this to me, and I sang it for him when he passed:
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my Soul to keep;
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my Soul to take.
Rest easy Uncle Don. You did everything you could.
