To Joyce's Fmaily,
I remember Joyce well from many times with Institute outings. I was a member of Beechwood. Then in later years I saw her in Strathroy several times and on the occasional trip with Ilderton Tours when I worked there.
She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all who knew her. What an anniversary celebration there will be!!
Treasure your many memories of her and hold them close to your hearts where she will always remain and remember that LOVE never dies.
RIP Joyce.
Sincerely,
Linda Fox

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I only knew her for a little while as she came into the Sunset Restaurant on Wednesday's with a friend and was such a pleasure to be around with her wonderful smile. It was very interesting reading her obituary as these are things I did not know about Joyce. She was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed.

Dear Shirley, Brad, Allen and family. Although it has been years since I have seen you or your mom, it is still hard to hear of her passing. As my friend's mom, she always made me feel so welcome in her home. My thoughts, prayers and virtual hugs go out to you as you grieve.

Dear Shirley and Family: I was saddened and shocked to read of your Moms' passing. She was always smiling, always had a moment to stop and chat when I would see her at the grocery store. She was always optimistic and even though it was hard for her leaving her house in Kerwood, she adapted and loved her new home in Strathroy. I still think about her every time I pass the place in Kerwood. She will be missed by many and she will be with you always, in your heart.

There are some people who have been in your life who you don't think will ever be gone - they've always been there, as a neighbour, Mom of a school friend, 4-H Homemaking leader, go-to-person for WI information, co-worker at various church functions, guest at your community bridal shower and they've kept you connected to home, weekly, through the Kerwood News. And while you may only see them occasionally after you move from the area, it never crosses your mind that one day they will not be there.
Shirley and Allen, you've written a lovely tribute to a lovely lady. The memories are many and you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Take care.

Shirley
I have known your mom only a short period of time . She always made me fell welcome ,Her smile and hellos were her signature.
I think I first met her at one of the Kerwood suppers, and she was" manning " the dessert table. She helped me pick out a great dessert. I also would see her proudly helping you at the flower shop during the Ladies Night out in Forest. You could tell she was having a great time seeing and greeting the people. May all your wonderful memories comfort you at this time

Our sincere sympathy to Shirley, Brad, Allen, sons, and Paul
Kerwood community will certainly miss Joyce; i.e Kerwood Womens Institute, church suppers, fireman's wife,
weekly Kerwood news, to name a few. The last line in the obituary is perfectly said--"she will be missed but
grateful that she has been reunited with Ernest on their 60th Wedding Anniversary".

To Joyce's Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother. She was indeed a wonderful woman.
I first met Joyce at Women's Institute functions when I was a member of the now disbanded group known as Beechwood Women's Institute. Many a fun time was had by all when silly skits might be performed but also when important decisions were made, and tasy food was enjoyed.
I met her again when she and Ernest traveled with me on the bus with Ilderton Tours. Other times we met would be in the community on the street or in a store. There was always a hello and how are you doing.
Treasure your memories of her and hold them close to your heart where she will always remain and remember that LOVE never dies.
What a wonderful Anniversary celebration it would be for they are now TOGETHER AGAIN.
Sincerely,
Linda Fox
