Obituary of Marie Vander

Peacefully at home on Friday, September 11, 2009, with her family by her side. Marie Vander of Strathroy in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ray Vander. Loving mother of Ron (Melissa) of Strathroy and Chris (Emma) of Mississauga. Lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren. Dear sister of Bertha Van Camp, Henk Hermans, Annie Versteegen, Jacqueline Jacobs and Josephine Bangarth. Predeceased by her brother Antoon Hermans. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, STRATHROY on Sunday, September 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Monday, September 14 at 11 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Cremation to follow. Parish Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 PM. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
