Loving mother of Perry (Sandra) Vandongen, Jack (Susan) Vandongen, Ray (Krista) Vandongen, Norma (Roy) Beynen, Lesley (Perry) Gallant Cherished grandmother of Scott(Meaghan), Sarah(Jamie), Tabitha, Natalie(Mahfooz), Evan(Allison), Tiffany (Dan), Brittany, Sean(Katie), Lindsay, Avery, TJ(Brianne), Kieran(Alexie), Emily (Aidan), Ella and Lauren. Great Grandmother of Landen, Carson, Sunday, Mavrik, Nolan, Brooklyn, William, Adrianna, Maycie, Caleigh, and one on the way.  Mom was a very proud, loving, compassionate woman. Some one that all could count on to be there when needed. She fought the battle of dementia for many years but her heart always had a connection with her loving husband. An inspiration to all what true love is. She will be dearly missed by all, now at peace. So many great memories with family from near and far, home was always open and welcoming to all. From the gracefulness of mom and dad on the dance floor to building houses, they were a team in every way always being there for each other. They loved going for walks in the park and enjoying the nature. Their love of travel took them to places such as Portugal, Holland, Australia and Arizona. Grandchildren always looked forward to going for visits making her special treats of applesauce and chocolate mousse. Mom and Dad were very loyal to their Catholic Faith. Family was always very important.  The family expresses thanks and appreciation to the compassionate staff at Kensington Long-Term care while she was in residence there. There will be a celebration of life at a future date with all family when we are able to get together. Arrangements have been entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
