Obituary of John McKenzie

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday June13, 2010. John A. McKenzie of Strathroy in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen (Paterson) McKenzie (2006). Dear father of Rev. Dr. Brian McKenzie and his wife Barbara of Strathroy, Leslie McKenzie and his wife Jeanette of Toronto and Gayle Frisa and her husband Norman of Denfield. Grandfather to Stephen, David, James, Jenna and Brandon McKenzie, Koreen Clements, Alexander Frisa and his fiance Annie Cartolano, Karl Frisa and his wife Kristen, Amber deJong and her husband Martin and Eugene Frisa. Also survived by great grandchildren Merrett and Aidan Clements, Hannah deJong and Keane Frisa and a brother Donald McKenzie and his sister Lillian McKenzie. Predeceased by a sister Margaret McKenzie. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 17, 2010 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9 pm. at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME 32 METCALFE ST. W. STRATHROY. Funeral service will be held at WEST ADELAIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1362 CUDDY DR. CORNER OF CUDDY DR. @ WILSON RD. on Friday June 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Amiro officiating. Interment to follow in West Adelaide Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to John.
