Obituary of Kathy Toews

Died peacefully, with her family at her side, Katherine Marie Toews "Kathy" of Wheatley at the age of 67 at Erie Shores Hospice on Monday, November 25th, 2019.  Loving wife of Bob Toews and cherished mother of Sarah (Matt) Marchand and Jenn (John) Verkaik. Beloved Marmee of Damon Marchand.  Survived by her siblings; Carolyn (Corwin) Pollett, Linda (Fred) Bihun, Marylou (Randy) Strong and Dave (Shannon) Cours and her mother-in-law Gertrude Toews.  Also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased her parents Gerard and Elta Cours and her father-in-law Frank Toews.

Lady Katherine had many loves in her life starting with family, gardening, her time at the library and her special ladies from the Wheatley United Chuch basement (you know who you are...).  Special thanks to Dr. Hamm and staff at the Cancer Clinic at the MET and to Erie Shores Hospice for their care and compassion.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at DENNING'S OF WHEATLEY, 17 Little St., S. on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 am.  Interment to follow at Erie Cemetery, Wheatley.
