Obituary of Ron Knight

KNIGHT

At St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  Ronald Allan Knight at the age of 70, known as "Ron" in the community of Rodney where he spent his whole life.  Dear husband of Cindy Knight and loved father of Doug (Michelle), Tom, Josh (Cyndi), Craig (Briley) and Rhonda (Derek).  Proud grandpa and papa of Kylie, Ryan, Maddie, Scarlet, Ally, Jordan and Archie.

Ron was well known in West Elgin as a heavy equipment operator who working with Staddon Excavating, Ron Moore, McLaren Trucking and then with the Municipality of West Elgin where he was known by the townspeople as the best grass cutter.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at DENNING'S OF RODNEY, 212 Furnival Rd. on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 from 5 - 8 pm.  Private family service and burial at Rodney cemetery will take place at a later date.

If desired, memorial contributions to the Four Counties Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
