Lloyd “Ralph” Makey

Formerly of Wheatley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Chatham-Kent Hospice. Loving partner of Jean Pinch. Ralph is survived his 3 daughters Debbie (Mike) Bieber, Maria (George) Kernohan and Shelley (Chip) Waite. He will be fondly remembered by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Step-Dad to Gary, wife Vanessa and family and Jenny Pinch. Best Papa in the world to Payton and Maura. Born July 8, 1938 in Raleigh Township to his late parents Lloyd Summerfield and Neva Smith. Adopted by his late grandparents Albert and Marietta Makey. Ralph is survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman. Visitation will be held at Denning’s of Wheatley, 17 Little Street South, Wheatley (519- 825-7741) on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial service at the funeral home on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ralph by cheque payable to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.  Share a memory at www.wheatleyfuneralhome.ca
