I have known Kim and Penny for a very long time. Our connections became lost when they moved out of the area. I have many many great and fond memories of my times spent with them. Both Kim and Penny were a Blessing to me in times of need. They were there for me and encouraged me to move on. I extend my sincerest sympathy to Penny on the loss of a great husband who loved her very much and too Deena and Jen and their children. Always know that your Kimmy will always remain in your hearts.

it was an honour and a privilege to have kim as a very close and good friend. Kim cared about everybody that crossed his path. He had no problems sharing his knowledge and skills and took great pride in seeing people succeed with these new skills. This is present in the soccer teams he sponsored or the apprentices he took under his wing. Kim lived a very adventurous life from being at the original woodstock to hiking across north america - being sneezed on by a bear. Kim lived the life he loved and loved the life he lived. He had many memories, and loved to share them with his family and friends. We feel blessed that kim was in our lives. Of all the traits that kim has his greatest trait was his love for penny - never a time went by when he mentioned that she was his "sun" and his "moon" ---the love of his life. She came came first and everything else was secondary. Although the physical kim is gone - his memory/ stories/ and sense of humour will always live on in those that were blessed to know kim. Take care our friend - see ya soon - SKAL

Kim, thank you for the many laughs you've provided me. I'll never forget the day you showed up to help my sister move, even though you didn't know her. You just wanted to be generous. You shared so many stories of your life with me that day. You continued over the years sharing and making me laugh on Facebook. It was a pleasure and an honour to know you. May you be at peace now. All of my love to your family and friends.
