We express our deepest condolence to Jim, Monica and all of Joyce's family. We knew and loved Joyce most of her life and cousin Jim all his life. Joyce will be in our hearts forever. we hope to see you all at Joyce's memorial . My first memory of meeting Joyce at Union Sports Club dances in the 1960,s. She was classy and a fun person. I only had a chance to know JOYCE over the last 10 years -too short a time for sure. I love her spirit, her generosity, her spunk, her thoughtfulness, her courage and so much more. I first met Joyce at a game of Mexican train and to those who know her, you can attest to the fact that I was introduced to her humour and feistiness right off the bat and I loved her from that day forward. She was also my first polka instructor lol and best wedding dance partner-we shared many laughs. You will be missed by all but remembered so fondly in our hearts, If I can be half as kind I will have lived a good life. I wish you peace and comfort as you finally get to rest. Love to you in the heavens above.

So wonderfully said. I will remember how funny Aunt “joby” was. We will cherish our little snowmen that were crafted with each of our names on them by her. We would always laugh that there wasn’t a speck of dirt in her house and when I was small she babysat me and I can still see the look of utter disgust when we came in from playing if we were dirty. I’m sure our parents couldn’t get there fast enough for her on those days. We will all miss her presence but will think of her often with fond memories

I always remember Aunt Joyce cleaning and making sure Monica was always clean when we were kids. lol It was a lot of fun at functions to watch her and Aunt Ruby or mom doing the polka! She was an awesome lady and I loves her laugh.
