Obituary of Phillip Frederick Challis

CHALLIS, Phillip Frederick – With family by his side, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, April 15th, 2019, Phillip Challis passed away in his 92^nd year. Beloved husband of the late Anne Frances (nee Pitman), and the late Anna Louise (nee Pardo). Phil will be lovingly remembered by his children the late Phil (Jeannie), Bruce (Betty), and Joyce (Dave) Ward. Cherished grandpa of Dee-Ann, Dawn, Dusty, Greg, Patricia, Laura, Jennifer, and Jessica; great grandchildren Thomas James, Daniel, Elijah, Kian, Heather, Sabrina, Amanda, Amy, Lincoln, Calista, Amelia, Parker, Ashley, Savanna, Anthony, and Breanna; great great granddaughter RoseAnne. Dear brother of the late Kent, the late Harry, and Charles “Ted”.  Phil resided in Chatham since 1935, and was an active member of Christ Anglican Church for many years. The Funeral Service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, 80 Wellington Street West, Chatham, on Monday, April 22nd, 2019 at 1pm. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
