Obituary of Ruby Piers

Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Ruby Irene Piers (Patten) of Strathroy in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Bert Piers. Dear mother of William (Eleanor) Patten. Loving grandmother of Valerie (Andrew Wilcott) Patten, Lance (Carrie) and William Jr. (Kirsten) and great grandmother of Dustin, Ruby, Madeline, Sidney, McKenna, Brett and Noah. Sister of Murray Palen of Tillsonburg and the late Vera (Bill) Neller, Freda Kelly, Lorna (Jim) McMillan, Earl, Morley and Mervin Palen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, April 15 from 2-4 PM and Monday, April 16 from 12-2 PM when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Julia E. Sinclair officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
