Obituary of Maria Linker

On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, after a lifetime of giving, God called home His beloved child, Maria (Elema) Linker. Maria was in her 84th year. Dearly loved by her husband of 58 years, Harry, and her children Jannette and Rick Binder of Strathroy, Ted and Margriet Linker of St. Thomas, Joyce and Bill Callcott of Strathroy, Meg (Mairan) and John Davies of Fonthill, Winnie and Brian Gare, and Don and Theresa Linker all of Strathroy. Cherished by her 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second Street, Strathroy. There will be a private family committal service on Saturday, June 2nd, followed by a memorial service at Providence United Reformed Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests that you consider a donation to Word and Deed Ministries, 3451 Menlo Road, Shaker Heights, OH 44120, (to provide hope and help to the poor and hurting), or a charity of your choice.
