Obituary of Ruby Fraser

FRASER Surrounded by the love of her family, Ruby Fraser (nee Napper) of Forest died peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Ruby shared 57 years of her life with her dearly loved husband Bert (2004). Ruby was one of nine children and the oldest daughter to the late Hazel and Fred Napper of Petrolia. Ruby was cherished and will be lovingly remembered for her deep love and enjoyment of family and home by her children: Ian, Chris (Greg Allen), Danny (Cathy), Lee Ann (George Brown), Jack (Jody), Cindy (Jeff Brown), grandchildren: Kim, Bill and Joe; Andria (Greg Appeldoorn) and Megan (Graham Lamb); Erik (Paula) and Dan (Jen); Emily and Sarah Brown; Taylor; Mackenzie, Dan and Jake Brown, and great-grandchildren: Jessie; Alex; Delaney and Keaton; Matthew and Mackenzie; Erik and Jillian; Jordan and Sam. Ruby and Bert's "six kids" especially appreciated growing up with parents who provided a home filled with love and laughter. Family get-togethers, tall tales of canoe trips, championship card games, and the stories of growing up at 6 William Street will long be treasured. Quite simply we will miss her gentle loving ways, her beautiful smile, her kindness, the sparkle in her eye and her sense of humor. Private family services.
