Obituary of Stanley Oake

OAKE At Bobier Villa, Dutton on Monday, May 21, 2007, Stanley Cavell Oake, formerly of Rodney and Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, in his 91st year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Isabella (McDonald) Oake of Dutton; daughter-in-law Christina Oake of Windsor; grandchildren Stephanie, Elana and Harrison. Predeceased by son Christopher David (1991), daughter Patricia Lillian (1946), brothers Reginald, Harold, Fred and Roland and sister Myrtice. Stanley served six years overseas with Royal Canadian Airforce during WWII. He was member of the West Elgin Legion Br. 221, West Lorne. Funeral service will be conducted from the Rodney Chapel on Wednesday, May 23rd at 2:00 pm., Pastor R. Karn officiating. Visiting one hour prior to service. Cremation. Interment of ashes Rodney Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Bobier Villa would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
