Obituary of Marion Axford

AXFORD Peacefully on her birthday, Saturday, February 3rd, 2007 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, London. Marion Joyce Axford of RR#3 Rodney in her 70th year. Loving wife of Rae for nearly 49 years. Beloved mother of Geoffrey and his wife Linda of London, Michael (1980) and Terry and his wife Max of Auckland, New Zealand. Dear grandmother of Shalimar and Forrest of New Zealand and Mitchell and Alana of London. Dear sister of Walter Schneider of Burlington and Karl (Ann) Schneider of Wardsville and predeceased by her parents Otto and Annie Schneider. She will be sadly missed by many, many friends and family members. Joyce was a retired area teacher, a longtime member Grace Lutheran Church where she was active in choir, ladies aid and Sunday School. She also was a member of the Village Ladies Choir and the West Elgin Nature Club. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Tuesday, February 6th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from Grace Lutheran Church, 108 Graham Rd., West Lorne on Wednesday at 1 pm. Pastors E. Betsch and P. Pollex officiating.
