Obituary of Margaret Jean Ashton

ASHTON: Peacefully with her family at her side, at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Thursday, December 28th, 2006, M. Jean Ashton of Bothwell in her 90th year. Her husband Emerson predeceased in 1961. Born in Zone Township, a daughter of Andrew Marcus and Maude Goodyear, she is dearly loved and sadly missed by daughter Cheryl Lindsay and husband Clare, son Wayne and wife Theresa all of Clachan; sisters Doris Price of also of Clachan, Betty (Ross) Beamish of Bothwell, Eva Rankin of Sombra and brother Harold (Vera) Marcus of Bothwell; dear grandmother to Scott Lindsay (Teresa), Steven Ashton (Barb), Stacey Browe (Rob) and dear great-grandchildren Jessica and Nicholas. Jean was also predeceased by brother Louis Marcus and sister Alta Marcus. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Annalee Kerr officiating. Interment McLean Cemetery.
