Obituary of Nick Birkenheuer

BIRKENHEUER At St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, September 3, 2006, Nick Birkenheuer of West Lorne in his 67th year. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Katherina. Lovingly remembered by his wife Mary (Vanderloo); children Dave (Tina) of Port Moody, B.C. and their children Lauren & Kira, Nick of Vancouver, B.C. and Julie (Pat) Pollock of Blenheim and their daughter Marly. Survived by sisters-in-law Ann Robinson, Patsy (Harry) Vandenboomen, Kathy (Dave) Townsend; brothers-in-law Bill (Louise) Vanderloo and Joe Vanderloo. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Harry, Tony and John Vanderloo. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be conducted from St. Mary's Church, West Lorne on Thursday at 11:00 am. Fr. J. Konieczny C. R. celebrant. Cremation to follow. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Society, West Elgin Daffodil Society or St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital would be appreciated.
