I was so sad to see, in the paper, the notice of Rosalie's death. I remember her well as one of my sweet little grade two students in the one room country school near her parental home on #3 highway. I have touched base with her different times in her jewellery store in West Lorne. Rosalie was always cheery, no matter what life dealt her and she always remained the sweet girl I remembered. Especially, my sympathies go to Helen. You too were one of my students and I know you will miss your big sister. I shall keep you all in my prayers at this very difficult time. Mary-Lou Sheeler

Conrad and family, I am so sorry to hear about Rosalie, she was a very uplifting person, no matter how she felt, she always made her problems seem small, just to give you a smile & make you feel good about yourself. When I put benefits on she always made sure she was a part of it , she loved to help in no matter what way. I truly enjoy being around her, she was a very lovable person, and I am truly going to miss her.Now heaven has another special angel to help him look over everyone, her job is not finished as she will be doing the same thing in heaven looking over people, and making them smile. When you feel down and all alone just think of Rosalie, she will be beside you, she will be the sunshine that shines on you , or you will hear her when the little birds sing, she is not leaving us she will be here somewhere looking after us .My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the community as we morn the loss of a wonderful angel. I will miss you Rosalie. God Bless you all Helen Jones

My thoughts & sympathies go out to Konrad, family & friends of Rosalie. Her smile & zest for life will always be remembered. A TOUCHING PROSE' : There is a tomorrow after today even if it seems like the end. I wrote your name on a piece of paper, but by accident I threw it away. I wrote your name on my hand but it washed away. I wrote your name in the sand but the waves whispered it away. I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay.

Dear Konrad and Elizabeth, I am not sure if either of you remember me but I booked a few of your trips in the past when I worked at Ambassador Travel and then here at Uniglobe Instant Travel. It has been many years since I dealt with Rosalie. I was very sad to read of her passing this morning. She was a wonderful person to deal with and always had a smile on her face and enjoyed travelling. She always talked about her family to me and how special her many relatives were. I know how she took very good care of both of you. She will be missed by all including me. My prays are with you both. Kindest regards, Monique Powell Uniglobe Instant Travel 200-235 North Centre Road London, Ontario N5X 4E7

Although you have probably heard this a thousand times over the last few days, I must say it again. To me Rosalie was one of the kindest persons I ever knew. She was the same to everyone wealthy or poor. Always a kind word and a smile. A hug when you needed it. So to Rosalie's family this is what I send a hug and a smile. Rosalie will always be remembered in our home.

Rosalie definitely brought a bright light to West Lorne and everything she was involved in. Never did I enter the store where she didn't ask about the kids and how we were doing. She was wonderful in the Charity golf tournament in Dutton last year and was one of the reasons that we decided to enter. We will all miss her smile and laughter and trust that those things will always remain with you. Bless you all Tex, Deb, Colette and Stephanie

Rosalie Krebsz was, from the first time I met her in 1968, a "force of nature". Behind the teller's cage at the Bank of Montreal or in her jewellery store in downtown West Lorne, she dispensed smiles, hugs, laughter and a listening ear. People loved her and well they should, she was "simply one of a kind". I was lucky enough over the years to be in a theatre group with Rosalie and part of the "Golden Girls" travel group. Our friendship was forged over dinners, theatre presentations and trips.....and, everywhere we went, Rosalie snapped photographs and charmed everyone she met. She was always and forever a smile, a hug, a sage and a whole lot of fun. She wanted to do and see everything....and, she had amazing energy which seemed to vibrate from her jewelled hands to her rapier-speed walk. She could travel to and from London before anyone knew she was gone!!!! Her greeting was always, "Hi, I'm Rosalie from downtown West Lorne" and her parting goodbye was "love you more". Rosalie made "instant friends"....with her beautiful eyes, her bright red lipstick, her sparkling style and her warm, warm heart. Her breast cancer diagnosis was devastating to those of us who loved her. But, Rosalie refused to buckle....she was positive, she was optimistic and she made other "breast friends"....making sure everyone knew that she was a survivor. She made sure that other cancer patients knew "how to celebrate each day of their lives". That was Rosalie.....courageous to the end. Rosalie kept busy "living"....and, working and entertaining and golfing and moving forward.....popping in to see her friends and spreading cheer wherever she went. From Rosalie I have learned many life lessons. To her, there was no time for pettiness.....she viewed life as a gift....and, she made sure that the people she met, both young and old, got a hug, a card, a special photo or a telephone call. My Mom, at 90, viewed Rosalie as her "adopted daughter" and both our kids felt like she was their second Mom. The loss for Konrad, Elizabeth and her family is incredible.....she was so loyal to the people closest to her. She had an amazing ability to detect "down days" and would arrive on our doorstep with flowers and a laugh or two.....that was Rosalie Krebsz. I will miss this tiny lady who graced my life with her energy, her spirit and most of all her friendship. Wherever you are, my friend, I hope you know that the Lougheed family has been blessed to have you as part of our lives and we will forever carry your memory in our hearts. Mac, Kate, Kristen, and Steve
