Obituary of Jack Junior Benjamin

Jack is finally at peace after passing on the morning of December 21, 2015 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Jack faced his final battle with lung cancer the same way he lived his life- by his rules. Despite knowing what the result would be, he chose not to take treatment. Of course this terrible disease won, but so did he- leaving us on his terms. Jack leaves behind not just his loving wife, but his partner in life for 60 years, Annie Benjamin (nee Miller). He will be sadly missed by his children; Doris, Jean, Susan, John, Dean, and Bill, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jack is predeceased by his older brothers Vic and Hank, and his older sister Hazel. He will finally get to see his tiny angel Corrina, and for that we are all thankful. Friends and family will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy on Sunday, December 27th, 2015 from 1 until 4p.m. A funeral service will be held at Denning’s Monday, December 28th at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. The family of Jack would like to thank the nurses at Strathroy Hospital as well as Dr. Perkin for their care for their dad. Online condolences may be left at denning.ca.
