Gecondoleerd met het verlies van jullie moeder, grootmoeder en overgrootmoeder. Hoewel ze een mooie leeftijd heeft bereikt zal het toch ook een groot verlies voor jullie zijn.
Voor mij betekende tante Annie voor een paar jaar van mijn leven heel veel. Ze bracht gezelligheid mee in ons gezin en als ze kwam was het altijd feest. Toen ze naar Canada vertrok liet ze een grote leegte na.

My condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Although she reached a good age, it will be a big loss for you all.
For me tante Annie meant a lot to me for a couple of years of my life when I was young. She spent time socializing with our family and when she arrived it was always feast. When she moved to Canada, we left a great void in our lives.

From Janny and Simon in Holland:
Dear Family
We express our sympathy on the loss of your mother.
It was expected your mother would not be with us for a very long time anymore. However, it is heavy to take leave of your dearest.
Janny says:
At this moment, I go back to the time that I was very young. In those days, your mother was working in a hospital in Gouda as nurse. I was six years old and was in the same hospital because of a tonsil removal. Aunt Annie had her night shift at another section of the hospital. In spite of the fact she was tired, every morning after her shift, she visited me. Then she spoke very nice words to me, words of love, tenderness and cheering up. Those moments were very important to me.
There was a warm and good relation between your mother and our mother.
We (as well as my brothers and my sisters) wish you a lot of strength during the funeral and in the coming days.
