Obituary of Lori Lorine Anderson

After a courageous fight and surrounded by her family, at St. Joseph's Hospice, on Friday, April 19, 2024 Lori Anderson in her 64th year.

Loving mom of Josh (Tina) and Cody (Melissa).  Cherished Grams of Lylah, Molly, Ellie, Della, and Georgia.  Dear sister of Kim (Phil) Panet, Linda (Barry) Balcom, and Jackie (Ron) Mason.  Predeceased by her parents Robert (2014) and Margaret (1999) Anderson and brother Scott (1959).  Lori will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Lori was a valued and honorary member of the Lambton Shores Swans.  Lori had a love for all things camping and campfires.  Her love for kids, most importantly her grandchildren will be cherished.   Lori had great work ethics and was a hard-working person throughout her life. She loved her jobs at the Saw Mill and Lizzy's Country Cafe & Catering; most importantly the rapport she had with all her customers including her daily customers, to the hockey teams and golf groups she would serve throughout the day and even into the after hours. It was her fun, loving, and social ways that we will miss the most.

As you embark on the journey of grieving Lori's passing, may you keep her memory alive by wearing her favorite colour, purple.

Cremation has taken place.  A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia, would be greatfully acknowledged by the family.

God Saw you Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired,

When a cure was not to be,

He closed his arms around you

And whispered, “Come to me”

In tears we saw you sinking,

We watched you fade away.

Our hearts were broken,

You fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw you sleeping,

So peacefully, free from pain,

We could not wish you back,

To suffer from that again.

So keep your loving arms around her,

And give her special care.

Make up for all she suffered,

And all that seemed so unfair.
