Sigrid Kleemann Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sigrid Katherina Kleemann (Mammen) of Parkhill, born Nov. 12, 1944, announces her passing. Predeceased by parents Kathy (1996) and Fred (2014) Mammen, and daughter Roseanne (1965).

Sigrid will be sadly missed by her loving husband Hans Kleemann, daughter Linda Kleemann, son Michael Kleemann, and daughter Karin Vandenbogaard; as well as her sister Kathy Saunders, sister Christine Rybiak, and brother George Mammen. Sigrid will also be lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Sigrid and Hans were married for 61 years. Best friends and partners in farming, they enjoyed many seasons of life including traveling to Florida for many years. After moving to Canada as a young girl, Sigrid learned at a very young age to live her life with sincerity and purpose. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, 4-H, and being involved in UCW. She always had fond memories of her beloved grandmother in Germany—an eternal love that was passed down to our families today.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF PARKHILL, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Parkhill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be considered to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
