Obituary of Donna Joanne Nesbitt

Donna Nesbitt 

Donna Joanne Nesbitt (née Bloxam) passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in her 85th year. 

Donna was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Roma (née Whytall) Bloxam, and her son, Brad. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Trevor, her children Tom (Chris) and Emily (Darryl), along with her cherished grandsons Owen, Daymond, and Gavin. 

She is survived by her siblings Carol (Al) Robbie and John Bloxam, and will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. 

A longtime member of Strathroy’s St. John Evangelist Church, Donna was a valued part of the community in both Strathroy and London, where she grew up and returned to live later in life. While raising her family, Donna also opened The Armoire in Strathroy, a women’s clothing shop she ran for many years. Donna was an avid painter, decorator, and enjoyed many travels with her husband of 63 years by her side. She had a great sense of humour and style and would light up a room with her smile. 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fox Hollow All Seniors Care for their kindness and support. 

Visitation for Donna will be held on January 9, 2026 from 9:30 - 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at Denning’s of Strathroy at 11:00a.m., followed by a private family interment at  Woodland Cemetery, London.
