Mary Ellen, Rhonda, and Dwight, we are sorry to hear about Rick’s passing. He was truly a man of many talents who knew everything about hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and bodywork, plus so much more. We will never forget his old-school way of teaching or how he was never afraid to speak his mind and share his opinions. We have so many wonderful memories of sitting around the dining room table listening to his jokes and stories of his youth, and we’ll always cherish the fish fries and his great love for music, entertaining family, and friends.
Mary Ellen, you were such a loyal caregiver to him, going above and beyond in everything you did. It was so clear how much he loved it when his kids were home. We hope it brings you all comfort knowing that he is finally at peace and reunited with your daughter, and your sister Jody, and other loved ones. He is finally free from the pain and suffering he struggled with for so long. He will be missed, but never forgotten."

To Rick s family . Deeply sadden to hear of his passing for sure . So many memories we could share of times with him . Always involved in many projects that he had such a passion for ..Many nights sitting in the shed rambling on about the good old days, people and places..Always talking about the next year s garden planting to watching the birds from the front window He provided me with one of his bird books so l could recognize them to share one of his great pleasures .Simplicity was easy for him and l truly learned so much .
