Dr Wolder was a very much loved physician of our family for many years. He was compassionate and kind while also finding a cause behind ailments. He spoke so incredibly kind about the love of his family and Disney Cruises. The world certainly has lost a tremendous human and physician. Wishing you all happy memories to carry you through this time

My family was patients of his for a long time but also knew him outside his practice. If he wasnt sure what was going on he would refer you to someone who did no hesitation. He would always remember non medical things about you and ask about them during your appointment “hows your new job going” etc. my dad was a plumber in town so dad and I would go out to doc wolders house every year to close up his pool house for the winter, dad took care of his plumbing and when it came time for him to take care of my dad through his life ending cancer battle we couldnt ask for anyone better. During the last weeks of my dads life Dr. Wolder would see him everyday even tho nothing had really changed, he got us a private room so my mom could stay the night and she even told us that she would pretend to be asleep while he came in the morning and would just stand there rubbing dads legs. Knowing the outcome would not change he made it the best he could. He had some unique traits lol pull up to once was 7-eleven right in front of the door swing the car door open with the car running to go in a grab his morning newspaper to do the exact same thing in the hospital parking lot. He was one of a kind in many ways. Everything that man did for this town if it was medical, political or as our mayor he did with his best intentions and he would always talk about the pumping station on head street that he had put in as mayor to my dad. Thank You Doc Tom! Rest In Peace

I express deepest condolences to the entire Wolder family from Sabira , my self
and Mithoowani family.
I have fond memories of Tom. We worked together on Hospital call schedule for 50 years. He was dedicated doctor who cared for patients in the hospital, and office, always available to help take extra call shifts. He was also accomplished helper of the Town of Strathroy- being Mayor for two terms where he had started the Industrial complex on the north side of the town.
He had been good influence on my children growing up- he had encouraged Fatima to be the youth delegate for Liberal party, my sons remember him as mentor before joining medical school.
Tom always challenged status quo- when he saw saw that the residents of Strathroy needed extra care after hours, he started walk in clinic in Strathroy for after hour care for residents .
I am honored to have known Tom, worked with him and have him as a friend.
He shall be missed but not forgotten.

I wanted to send a note of condolence and memory to you at this difficult time. Tom was a friend to my father and as "Dr Wolder", dad entrusted his health to him for many years. Dad used to say that "Doc" kept him going and he did a good job because dad passed away at 92. Dad being old fashioned didn't believe in appointments and that was seemingly ok with "Doc". Tom was a neighbour and would often cross the street to talk with dad and was a history buff. He respected Dad's service in the Navy and for being at D-Day and was interested in talking with Dad about this. Sincere sympathy Jane Gibson (daughter of "Hoot")

He loved being a Doctor and helping people especially the marginalized. He was generous and kind. Our deepest condolences to the Marilyn and the family. May he rest in Gods peace and glory.

The very mention of Dr Wolders name would invoke comments about his energy and determination. He managed to keep so many irons in the fire, from his medical practice, our local hospital to his involvement in politics. So many of us were in awe of his diverse abilities and endeavours. Personally, I owe him for his advice and dedication to the Liberal Party. We send our sincere condolences to Dr Wolder’s family and friends.

A wonderful considerate human being and a dedicated doctor who went to all lengths for his patients, as experienced by both my husband and myself. We missed him greatly when he retired from his practice. During my tenure working at the municipal office, he was very zealous about his public service as Mayor of the town, often arriving for meetings, after working at the hospital or his medical clinic. Our heartfelt condolences to all the family, rest in peace Dr.Tom Wolder.

Dr. Wolder had a big impact on my dad's life as a math techer in Durham. Fast forward I moved to Stathroy 17 years ago. I met him when I had to go to emerg. He looked at me then my last name and he knew who my dad was and gave me a message for my dad. He was an amazing man that cared for so many in so many different ways.
