Obituary of Rose Marie Stewardson

Peacefully at Bluewater Health on November 20, 2025, Rose Marie (Helps) Stewardson passed away in her 84th year with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her loving husband Ivan (2021), whom she missed deeply. Rose is survived by her devoted children Patti (Casey), Janet (Bob), Karen (Dave), and Kevin (Carolyn). She was adored by her grandchildren Trevor (Cora), Darcy (Karlee), Mitchell, Kelli (Kevin), Chad (Amanda), Cory, Emilie, Dylan (Cieara), Tyler (Courtney), Shawn (Jordyn), Ashleigh, Chris, and Nathan.

Great-grandmother of Mason, Cody, Ben, Adam, Gracie, Brooke, Sunni, and Bryson.

Beloved sister of Darlene (Doug) and Ross (Avril). Predeceased by her parents Cliff and Leona, and siblings Edgar, Roger, Danny, and Vivian. Sister-in-law to James Jolly, and Sue and Verna Helps and predeceased by Glen and Lizzie Stewardson, Dean and Jean, Bill and Betty, Shirley and Alma, and Bill. Rose is also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Rose loved volunteering at North Lambton Lodge, being an Auxiliary member, enjoying coffee with friends, and actively participating as a member of Forest United Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Denning’s of Forest.
Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Forest United Church, followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery.

Donations in Rose’s honour may be made to Forest United Church, North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary, or Bluewater Palliative Care.
