Obituary of Bill Paskaruk
It is with great sadness the family of Wasyl (Bill) Paskaruk inform you of his passing on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 at University Hospital in London, Ontario.
Left behind to mourn are his loving wife of 63 years, Irene, daughters Sharon, Susan, Sheila, Sandra (Dean) and son Bill Jr. (Jenn). Beloved Gido of Holly, Matthew, Brook, Trent and Lucas.
Bill is survived by his brother, John (Jean, deceased), sister Evelyn (Dale) and sister-in-law Alice (Norman). Bill is also survived by step-grandchildren Isaiah and Lexie along with niece and Goddaughter, Angie (Laird), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Wasyl Sr., brothers Steve (Anne), Lawrence (Olga), Andy (Hazel) and sisters Roseanne (Tony), Marion (Leo) and Victoria (Mike) as well as his nephew and Godson, Dale.
Bill was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan. Although he came to Ontario to work and raise his family, he was always a farmer at heart. He could grow almost anything and took great pride in his gardens that were always bountiful.
Bill was a loyal employee at the Ford Motor Company where he earned several certificates for perfect attendance. He always took pride in his work, whether he was making homemade soup, or working on the line. Bill loved fishing, Euchre, Cribbage and a good challenging Sudoku along with other puzzles.
We are all so grateful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did, and thank God that he is free from pain and at peace.
As per Bills wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held in the Spring, his most favourite season. Details will follow closer to the date. Anyone who knew Bill is most welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association/Charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
