Donald R. Thompson

Passed peacefully at Chelsey Park Long Term Care Facility on November 2nd, 2025 in his 86th year with his son Tim by his side.Predeceased by his father Alex Thompson (1979), his mother Ella Thompson (nee Murray) (2011), and Pat Agnew (2006). Don will be missed by Tim, Barbara, children and grandchildren, brother Ken (Marilyn) Thompson and their children Delia (Rob) Littlejohn, Tyler (Rita) Thompson and their families. He will be fondly remembered by many family and friends who knew him as Don or Dad. A special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Chelsey Park for your extraordinary warmth and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Denning’s of Strathroy, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy ON, on Sunday November 9th from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. Funeral services will take place at Denning’s on Monday November 10th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
