Obituary of Joanetta Mutch Boyd

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan (Joanetta) Boyd on August 30, 2025, at the age of 85.

Joan was the life of every party, bringing laughter and warmth wherever she went. She had a heart full of generosity, spending countless hours knitting and crocheting hats and mittens, which she donated to children in need. Her winters in Myrtle Beach were among her happiest times, filled with sunshine, friendship, and joy.

Joan leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Linda Fitzpatrick; granddaughter, Tracey Fitzpatrick (Jason Curling); her son, David (Karen) Frame; granddaughter, Alyson (Ryan) Walmsley; and their two sons, Liam and Dylan.

As per Joan’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.

Donations in her memory can be made to Four Counties Health Services.
