It is with heavy hearts the family of James Mathers announces his passing on June 8th, 2025 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Doris Mathers (nee Eagleson) for 63 wonderful years. Cherished father of Patti Mathers (Donnie McDonald) and Kevin (Sandra) Mathers. Papa of Chris (Taylor), Michelle (Keith), Shaun (Jenna) and Scott (Lisa). Great papa of Dawson, Madden, Olyn, Malia, Kaia, Raya, Georgia, Emery and Harper. He will be missed by his sister Shirley (late Bruce) McCormick. Predeceased by his brothers late Stan (Verna) and late Bill (late Eleanor). He will be fondly remembered by the Eagleson family and many friends.
As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.
