My sincere condolence to the family of Helen Hamilton.
I remember going to the bakery as a child and the aroma of fresh baked goods would greet one at the door.
Mrs. Hamilton was so kind and patient while putting one of several treats in a box or bag for my purchase.
Even today when I go to the bakery I see her bright smiling face from yesteryear and such a warm feeling embraces me.
May you rest in peace Mrs. Helen Hamilton.
Thank you for all the warm delicious memories.

I will always remember the wisdom and kindness of Helen Hamilton. So many memories from my childhood days spending summers at Lake Valley Grove where I became a friend of Pat. Through this friendship, I met the rest of Helen and Al’s family. Last fall, quite by chance, I stopped by the old cottage at Lake Valley Grove and had a wonderful visit with Mrs. Hamilton. She was sharp as a tack, inquisitive, interested, and intelligent and we had a great conversation. She remembered so many stories from the past. To Pat, Joanne, and all the family, we hold you in prayer and sympathy as you journey through the loss of this remarkable matriarch. Peace. Sweet home.

Grandma, you truly were one of a kind. You constantly amazed me with your brilliant brain and amazing abilities! I loved our conversations together and spending time with you in your beautiful gardens and up at the cottage. Every time I see a snowball bush I will always think of you, as those were the beautiful flowers you would cut down for me to take home. Thank you for all your years of kindness and love towards my family and I. I love you Grandma, you will be so very much missed. Xo
Love,
Alana, Jesse and Roger

To Carol and family
My deepest condolences to your family, on the passing of your Mom Hellen
It never matters how old you are, everyone needs their Mom….and I know nothing I can say will take away the pain you’re experiencing. I just want you to know that I care about you, and I share in your sadness. I feel like ever since she went into the hospital just after her 102nd Birthday that I’ve been going on a never ending rollercoaster twist and loop de loops; with you Carol I have tried to be there when you needed to just talk and work through everything that you are dealing with with in the last week with Charlie’s anniversary and now this.
Carol and family please remember that you have 103 years worth of full stories, adventures, memories of your Mom (a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mom, proud Grandma, Great Grandma, Great - Great Grandma, friend, coworker, small local store (bakery) owner, neighbour) and so more that became treasured keepsake that no one will ever be able to change or take away from you; keep all these wonderful moments/ memories close to you... each and everyday of your life's. Just remember just because your Mom isn't here in person doesn't mean she's not around you, it just means that she is in closest place possible in your life's....and that place is in your hearts. During this difficult time, walking down memory lane with memories and stories is the best medicine to help you. Along with being at peace knowing your Mom is now free from everything she was dealing with at the hospital.
I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your Mom really that well Carol, but I’m sure she was a special person because she raised an amazing human being: you and your siblings. Wishing you peace and comfort during this unimaginable time.” Carol and family I’m sure your hearts are aching. I just want you to know that we are here for you if your need anything after everything calms down and goes back to the new normal don't be scared, to ask because I'm always willing to lend a helping hand to my friends.
Lots of Hugs Carol
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
