Obituary of Muriel Madeline Huckle

Peacefully, with her daughter by her side, Muriel Madeline Huckle (nee Charlton) passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the age of 89.

Muriel was the cherished wife of the late Walter Huckle. She was the devoted mother of the late Brenda Ysebaert (late Raymond), Rick Gowers (Bonny), late David Gowers and Michele Ysebaert (late Andy).

Muriel was the beloved Nana to Candy, late Jospeh, late Jason, Mark (Tara), late Erick, Tara, Steven and Chad (Amber). She was also a great grandma to 22 and a great great grandma to 4.

Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Sarah (nee McLellan) Charlton, as well as her brothers George (Juanita), Gerold, Donald, her twin brother Meredith (Mary Anne) and brother-in-law Peter De Block and sister-in-law Bev Charlton.

She is survived by her sister Donalda De Block, brother David Charlton as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Thursday May 8^th, 2025 from 1-3 and 6-8pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will take place the following day Friday, May 9^th, 2025 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Nairn Cemetery.
