Obituary of Nicholas Andrew Barker

In loving memory of Nicholas Andrew Barker 1980-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicholas Andrew Barker, aged 45, a beloved son, devoted father, and cherished brother. Nicholas passed peacefully in his sleep long after a long and courageous battle with chronic health illness. 

Born to Shirley Mae Barker (Sinclair) and Terence Douglas Barker. Nick was a proud and loving father to his three children: Tyler, Kaila, and Aubrie, who were the centre of his world. He is survived by his six siblings: Douglas (Jean) Barker, Tami (Nolan) Sukhdeo, Brandi (Dave) Lee, Sean (Melissa) Barker, Chris (Sarah) Barker, and Kailee Barker, as well as eleven nieces and nephews who will forever remember his warm spirit. 

Nicholas had a passion for fishing and a love for collecting sneakers, but above all, he treasured his time spent with his children. His presence, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

A funeral will take place on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11a.m. at Denning's of Strathroy. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers a GoFundMe account has been set up to support Nicholas’s children during these difficult times.
