Dear Irene and families. Our hear felt sympathy on the passing of your mom/grandma. Over the years, as a neighbour, we have met up with Kathy. Mostly when going for a walk, we would see her outside busily sweeping, gardening, in and out of the garage with her many finds. She always had a smile for us. I called her Babcia Kathy. Not only did it make her smile, it put a smile on my face too as my grandmas had passed away many years ago and it was nice to call her Babcia Kathy. It has been a honor to work with you for the past three years. Always amazed by your positive life attitude, strenth of overcome with your pain ,sweet smile at all time. You told me your life stories, taught me polish, and beautiful and unforgettable memories about Green Belt where you used to live. In our home, Kathy was regarded more like a mother than a friend. Her loving ways were truly a beacon of light on this earth. Her passing has left a tremendous void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her gentle, sweet demeanor. Irene's Mum I had known for many years. I recall her scuttling arounfd the kitchen making something or other. One time she served me an Apple Cake. It was so wonderful. She very kindly told me the recipe which I have made very often since. I always remember our visits while baking her cake. She was such a lovely and generous lady. She will be missed.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the privilege of assisting Kathy. She was always so eager to help. She loved talking about children, hers or anyone else's. She was always so kind, making sure you also ate something and making sure you didn't need anything.
She was very kind and loving, always excited about her grand babies. When I would leave and tell her "see you next Tuesday!" She would sometimes tell me "okay love you!" Or tell me Tuesday was way to far away.
