Gardner, Dolores “Dodi” Kathleen
It is with broken hearts the family of Dolores “Dodi” Kathleen Gardner announces her peaceful passing at home on March 7th, 2025 at the age of 89. Cherished wife of the late John Gardner. Proud mother of Richard “Mark” (Susan) Gardner, Patti-Lynne (Steven) Armstrong and Kelly (Rick) Manion. Loving grandma of Sean (Angie) Sitaram, Kate Fox and Amanda Fox. GG of Kaden and Nya Sitaram and Eden and Briar Jinks. Dodi will be missed by her siblings Norman (Marlene) Campbell, Patsy Stewart and Cathy (Gary) Roy. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dodi will be remembered as a very generous person, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was very creative, she loved doll making, creating various soaps and was an amazing painter. Dodi also had a love of nature, weather that was spending time out in her gardens, caring for her beloved orchids or just enjoying watching the birds. Dodi sang for years with Lionell Thorton's Orchestra at Wonderland Gardens in London. She was also very adventurous and loved to travel, even going on a solo trip to Australia in her 60’s! Dodi’s family was her pride and joy, she loved being a grandma and GG. She will be missed by all who knew her.
As per Dodi’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Pinehill Cemetery at a later date.
